Internship Programs for High School and College Students

Consortia for Learning and Services to Special Populations (CLASSP)

CLASSP is a learning program for NYC teens and undergraduate students interested in building their resume while receiving training from certified instructors and hands-on experience working with children with disabilities in social recreational programming.

 

Students receive:

  • College credits & level courses
  • Generous stipend - paid monthly throughout internship
  • Professional training
  • Opportunity for growth
  • Exposure to the community


VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Gain experience working with children, teens and adults with Developmental Disabilities. This opportunity provides a hands-on professional experience for those who are over 16 years old and looking to pursue a career in fields of special needs, education, psychology or speech pathology.


Volunteers needed for:

  • Afterschool program serving children with Autism and other Developmental Disabilities
  • Sunday Programs for children, teens and adults
  • Special events
  • Bridge
