ANNUAL WALK FOR AUTISM

Sunday, August 4, 2019 3:00 p.m.
Meeting location: West 10th Street and Coney Island Boardwalk, near the NY Aquarium entrance

Statistics show that every 15 minutes another family receives the devastating news that their child has autism. Many South Brooklyn families cannot afford to pay for programs while free programs continue to be cut. You can help us change that! Shorefront Y is pleased to host its Annual Walk for Autism to help support families affected by Autism and other developmental disabilities. All proceeds from the walk will benefit current programs serving children with special  needs at the Shorefront YM-YWHA.

Help spread the word! If you cannot join us for the walk, please help us by making tax-deductible donation here and spread the word to your friends and family. Don't wait another minute register or donate now! Registration fee is $15 per adult and $8 for children 17 and under (T-shirt and raffle ticket included). Email your friends, family and co-workers and invite them to visit this site.

Registration & the kickoff to the walk will be held on the Boardwalk near the New York Aquarium entrance, this is also where our Walk for Autism will begin. The exact location is West 10th Street and Coney Island boardwalk. This 1 mile walk will conclude at the Shorefront YM-YWHA (3300 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11235) where we will be providing water, snacks, raffles, and more!
