Make sure we never forget the Holocaust! Meet a WWII veteran and influence a video that will be shown worldwide! Sign-up at shorefronty.org/volunteer
The mission of the Shoah foundation is to make sure we do not forget the stories of people who have experienced the Holocaust, WWII, and other genocides. Unfortunately, there are not many Holocaust survivors left with us, and knowledge about the holocaust is quickly being forgotten. The Shoah Foundation has recorded the experiences of many survivors to make sure their stories will continue to be heard. There are even several interactive videos in English where you can ask it almost any question you have about their experience and there is a recorded response that can answer your question. The Shoah Foundation is in the process of recording two interactive videos in Russian and they are looking for Russian speaking teens to form a focus group this Friday from 4:30- 6:00 PM at the Shorefront Y. You will meet with a WWII survivor, hear his story, and the Shoah Foundation wants to hear the questions you would like to ask. This will shape the video which will be shown internationally to help preserve the story of the holocaust for generations to come.
