Shorefront Y Family Autism Center's Healthy Lifestyles Conference and Art ShowMay 23, 2010 – The Shorefront Y Family Autism Center held a Healthy Lifestyles Conference and Art Show for parents, grandparents, children, and professionals, which focused on children with special needs from birth through adolescence.

The conference featured workshops by talented professionals and specialists to support, inform and educate families of children and teens with special needs. Some topics included Relaxation and Bonding with your Child, Reaching the Musical Child: Connecting, Communicating and Developing Relationships in Creative Music Therapy and Martial Arts/Movement Therapy. In addition, the Shorefront Y offers an All-Together After School and Sunday Funday Program for children with autism and Program Bridge for teens and adults with special needs. Funding for the Family Autism Center is provided by the J.E. & Z.B. Butler Foundation. More information here.
