The Shorefront Y After School Stars at PS 225

The Shorefront Y After School Stars at PS 225 provides a rich array of activities for program participants. Our day begins with a hot supper followed by activities. We provide homework help, literacy infused activities, dance, drama, chorus, nutrition, theater and much more.
 
Our staff reflects the rich diversity of the community and the languages spoken. We work closely with the school to support your child’s academic needs.

Family Literacy Program
The Shorefront Y sponsors a comprehensive literacy program together with PS 225 located at 1075 Oceanview Avenue.

Classes are free of charge and are offered for families, parents and children. The Family Literacy Program includes an Adult ESL Class, Children’s Education Class, Parent and Child Together Classes as well as a Parent Resource Class.
