Jason Vasquez Jason Vasquez,
Camp Director
Jason Vasquez, a graduate of Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business holds a BBA degree in Marketing Management with a minor in the concentration of Philosophy and Ethics. As Assistant Camp Director for the previous two summers, Jason has gained valuable experience in relation to all aspects of camp. He strives to make camp a memorable experience for both campers and staff alike. Jason has been working with children in both the afterschool and camp environment since 2006.

Jason enjoys sports, taking on new challenges, and spending time with family and friends.
"Camp is a place full of special moments. It is an environment where memories and friendships are built that last a lifetime. It is my goal to make sure each child as well as staff member has a personalized experience that will never be forgotten. While camp is exciting, we strive to make it feel more like a second home, where all can feel safe, comfortable and most importantly have fun."
   
Amanda Kaplan Jennifer Ilyayeva
Jennifer has been working with children for over four years. This will be her third summer working in Camp. She is currently attending Brooklyn College where she is majoring in Biology. In her free time Jennifer enjoys playing the piano and guitar. She is looking forward to an amazing upcoming summer.
   
Rita Arlyuk Rita Arlyuk
Rita Arlyuk has been a member of the Shorefront Y family for three years in both the Afterschool and Summer Camp Programs. She will be graduating with a bachelor degree in psychology within the upcoming year. Rita has worked with children for six years. When she has the chance, Rita enjoys spending her time outdoors with family and friends. She is very excited about building new friendships, memories and having an unforgettable experience in camp this upcoming summer.

Shaina Alpin Germino Dumont
Germino has been working at the Shorefront Y Summer Camp for three summers. Germino has been working with children since his senior year of high school. Two years ago, Germino was given the opportunity to work with children with special needs. It has become a true calling and although challenging, as with most items in life, he enjoys every single moment of it. Germino is looking forward to yet another amazing summer.
   
Chris Baldwin Dikla Hodefi
Dikla is a “Shaliah” from Israel who recently finished a five-year service in the Israeli army as an education officer. Dikla will be a Music Specialist this summer, bringing the colors of Israel through songs and melodies. She has a background in the studies of classical music on the piano, also teaching herself how to play the guitar. She loves to sing and play with friends. Dikla is very excited about the upcoming summer and hopes to be a significant influence to both staff and campers alike.
   
Yoni Wolnerman Tanya Yuditsky
Tanya is a “Shaliah” from Israel. She is going to bring Israeli culture and traditions in many different and fun ways this upcoming summer. Tanya has been an Arts & Crafts Specialist for over ten years and is excited to bring many of these activities to our Day Camp this summer. Some of Tanya’s hobbies include playing tennis, drawing, and hanging out with friends and family. She is very excited about taking part in camp and is sure this summer will be an incredible experience.
   
Ariella Angert Ariella Angert
Ariella Angert, the Teen Program Coordinator at the Shorefront Y, graduated from Hunter College with a Bachelors in Sociology. When she graduated college, Ariella spent the summer living in Israel. Ariella is passionate about Judaism and Israel. She is currently working on her Masters in Social work at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Ariella loves working with children & teens and is looking forward to an unforgettable summer!
   
Alex Filipov Alex Filipov
Aleksandr has worked in the Youth Department of the Shorefront Y going on five years. Alex is currently pursuing a degree at Hunter College with the goal of becoming a teacher. He uses any and all opportunities to impart knowledge on to the kids of the Shorefront Y Summer Camp. Alex can’t think of any place better to spend his summer than the Shorefront Y Day Camp.

Rachel Weisberg Rachel Weisberg
Rachel Weisberg has been working at the Shorefront Y the past five years. Rachel has been a Division Leader in our Summer Camp, along with a three year dance specialist. In our ASP programming Rachel has worked in all vicinities, from counselor, to head counselor, to office administration. She currently goes to Brooklyn College where she will be graduating in the Fall of 2013 with a dual degree in Early Childhood Education and Children & Youth Studies. Her passion is working with children and that's what she enjoys most. Rachel wants the children to succeed with having the wisdom to grow and knowledge to learn. She is expecting this year’s camp experience to be like no other .

Saad Darwish Saad Darwish
This upcoming summer is going to be Saad Darwish fourth year working in summer camp. He is currently going to Kingsborough Community College where he is studying to become an Accountant. Upon completion he hopes to continue his education at Brooklyn College where he will continue to pursue becoming an accountant. Saad does not enjoy anything more than working with children and putting smiles on their faces. Saad hopes to continue learning new things this summer that will benefit him throughout the upcoming years when working with children. .
"I sincerely believe that working with children can be a great responsibility but it is still lots of fun for me and the children."
   
Julia Sosnovskaya Julia Sosnovskaya
Julia Sosnovskaya has worked with children in camp and After School Programs for the past six years. She is a head counselor in Shorefront After School Program and was an assistant Division Leader in the Summer Camp. She attends Hunter College as a psychology major because she enjoys listening to people and helping them solve their problems.
She is looking forward to the upcoming summer and hopes to improve her skills of working with children and also to have fun .
"I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be."
   
Julia Sosnovskaya Raphaella Krass
Raphaella has worked with children in Summer Camp setting since 2004. She is currently studying Business Marketing at Lehman College. Raphaella is very passionate about instilling positive traits and values in the children she works with. This upcoming year will be her second in the Shorefront Y Summer Camp and she is looking forward to a very fun filled summer with awesome trips and activities.
   
Julia Sosnovskaya Veronika Kharaman
Veronika has worked at the Shorefront Y for the past five years. This upcoming summer will be her sixth summer working in camp. Veronika is in her Junior year at Brooklyn College and is double majoring in Exercise Science and Art History. Upon graduation she hopes to attend graduate school and pursue becoming a Physical Therapist for Children with Special Needs.
"I can’t wait for the summer. It’s my favorite time of the year. It’s exciting to come back and make the camper’s summer the best one yet."
   
Julia Sosnovskaya Justin Meyer
Although new to the Shorefront Y Summer Camp, Justin has been working with children for six years. Helping others is a true passion of his, and one he hopes to instill in campers and peers. Justin strives to provide campers with the best summer experience ever. This will be easily attainable if campers have half as much fun this summer as he does!
   
Julia Sosnovskaya Albina Vandalovskaya
Although new to the Shorefront Y Summer Camp, Albina has been working with children for eight years. Albina is currently in Nursing School and looking to specialize in pediatrics. Helping people is her passion. Albina is looking forward to having an amazing and unforgettable summer!
